Synopsis

The Search began centuries ago, when ancient Polynesians explored the Pacific Ocean, riding the winds and ocean swells, discovering the Hawaiian islands and developing the art of wave-riding. The Search has been central to the surfing experience ever since. At its simplest it is heading off into the unknown in search of perfect uncrowded waves.

The spirit of adventure and discovery recognises no borders and needs no translation, evoking the same emotions for snowboarders, skiers, skaters, windsurfers and wakeboarders – free spirits who put themselves on the edge, chasing and riding nature’s energy in remote corners of the globe.
