Synopsis

The Australian Open is the first of the world's four Grand Slam tennis tournaments each year, taking place in January at Melbourne Park. The tournament commenced in 1905 and has since grown considerably in stature and popularity, attracting the world’s top players. As one of the world’s most important tennis tournaments, The Australian Open continues to produce unforgettable moments in tennis history.

The Australian Open Tennis Archive is an extensive collection of matches including Finals & Semi-Finals from the Men's, Women's and Doubles tournaments. These date back to 1975 and continue to the present day.

Previous winners of the tournament include Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer, Pete Sampras, Andre Agassi, Boris Becker, Martina Navratilova, Chris Evert, Steffi Graf, Martina Hingis, Justine Henin, and Serena Williams.
