Synopsis
The Rugby League Gillette Four Nations in now in its third instalment following the increase in size from the previous incarnation, the Gillette Tri Nations. Outside of the Rugby League World Cup, the Gillette Four Nations tournament is the sports premier International Rugby League competition.
Played alternately in the Northern and Southern Hemisphere, the Gillette Four Nations challenges Australia, England and New Zealand (current World Champions) against the fourth best team selected from either the European Cup Champions or Pacific Nations Cup Champions. In 2011, Wales will join the event for the first time in their history (replacing France).
The highlight of the 2011 tournament will see a double header fixture at the iconic Wembley Stadium and will feature England v Australia at the venue for the first time since the 1995 Rugby League World Cup Final.
