Synopsis
The Sony Ericsson Women's Tennis Association Tour (WTA) is the world's premier professional tennis series for women. Professionals compete at tournaments hosted in 35 countries including United States of America, Australia, United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates, China, Spain and many more. The Sony Ericsson WTA Tour includes Tier I, Tier II, Tier III and Tier IV Tournaments and culminates in The Sony Ericsson Championships in November.
The WTA Tour Archive is an exclusive collection of Tour events and is a unique showcase of world-class womens' tennis. The Archive features such tennis greats as Venus Williams, Martina Hingis, Justine Henin-Hardenne, Amelie Mauresmo, Serena Williams, Elana Dementieva, and Maria Sharapova.
